Do you have a back up generator?
As Le Gite is in a remote area, the national power network cuts from time to time. However, at Le Gite we have solar lights that will assist at night but the water heater for instance won't work at that time. We also suggest that our guests come with their own torch.
Do you have a swimming pool?
At Le Gite we DO NOT have a swimming pool. However, we have a number of connections with local hotels near by. We highly recommend swimming at Elephant Hab Lodge. The lodge is just a 10 to 15 minute walk from Le Gite and we promise you will not be disappointed upon arrival.
How do we arrange food if we donโt want to cook?
If you have decided that you would like to have your meals prepared during your time with us, please be sure to communicate this upon arrival. We will then give you a copy of our Menu where you can pre- order your food with Sadd.
NOTE: This is an additional cost which should be directly paid
Do you have any animals at the house?
At Le Gite we have two cats. However, the cats do not sleep inside the house but are very happy when the guests give them attention.
Will there be drinking water upon arrival?
When you arrive at Le Gite there will be two large bottles of water in the fridge. Please feel free to enjoy as you settle into your home away from home.

Is there internet?
At the moment we only have an internet connection at the main house. We will soon be adding this to the cottages.
Do you provide bed sheets and towels?
Both bed sheets and towels are provided for our guests during their stay.
Can we exchange money in Kyambura?
There are no places where you can exchange money in Kyambura. We highly recomend that our guests exchange prior to coming to Queen Elizabeth.
Should you need to withdraw more money during your stay, you can withdraw money in Bank Of Africa located in the city of Nyakasharu -
15 min drive from Kyambura.
Can you recommend a guide and activities?
We can recommend a guide to assist you with booking park fees, go with you in safari or show you around the community. Please lead those discussions with Sadd upon arrival to ensure a schedule can be made and avoid any disappointment.
Do the showers have hot water and good water pressure?
The Nest (main house) and The Cottages are equipped with instant water heaters.
Are there alot of mosquitoes?
As Le Gite is on top of the cliff, the houses don't have many mosquitoes. However, all of the beds are equipped with nets and we recommend that our guests come with their own repellents.
Can we buy food and drink near by?
Our guests can purchase basic items such as fruits, veggies, eggs, milk, bread, chapati, fish, beef, chicken, sodaโs and local beers in the villiage.
